Social Housing White Paper

"A home should always be more than just four walls and a roof. A home should provide safety, security and dignity."

As a new and exciting charter for social housing residents, the Social Housing White Paper was published by the UK government on 17th November 2020. It sets out the actions the government will take to ensure that residents in social housing are safe, are listened to, live in good quality homes, and have access to redress when things go wrong. The proposals in this White Paper will make clear the standards that every social housing resident in England is entitled to expect from their landlord.
